  1. The closest Interstate (Beltway) exit is Exit 11 of MD I-495 East or I-95 North. The directions from there are:
  2. Take Exit 11 south-bound onto MD-4 Southeast "Pennsylvania Ave" towards Upper Marlboro and go approximately 9.6 miles;
  3. Take the MD-408 East ramp to the right towards Annapolis/Waysons Corner;
  4. Turn left onto Hwy 408 "Marlboro Rd" and go approximately 5.8 miles;
  5. Enter the roundabout and take the 2nd exit (to continue straight) onto MD-2 North "Solomons Island Rd" and go an additional 1.3 miles;
  6. Turn right onto MD-255 "Owensville Rd" and go approximately 4.0 miles; "Owensville Rd" turns into "Main St" once past MD-256 "Muddy Creek Road";
  7. In Galesville, turn right onto "Church Ln" for approximately 0.3 miles;
  8. Church Ln will dead-end into Hartge’s Yacht Yard; at the first gravel drive, turn right, go to the covered dock (the 700 dock) and turn right again. Find a lawful parking place. The 800 dock is to the right of the covered dock as you face the water. Southern Girl is in Slip 807.
