Hartge Yacht Yard, of course. A full service boat yard with fuel, provisions, haul-out and mechanics. Located at N-38º 50.4’ W-076º 32.6’ (WGS84)
Pirates Cove Marina, 4817 Riverside Drive, Galesville. A restaurant, motel and marina. Located at N-38º 50.6' W-076º 32.4'. We don't care much for the food, but a lot of other people like it. Parking is crowded.
Thursday's Steak and Crab House, 4851 Riverside Drive, Galesville. Located at N-38º 50.5' W-076º 32.4'. Very good crab cake sandwiches and oyster poboys.
The Riverview Inn, corner of Main Street and Riverside Drive, Galesville. Just opened, (used to be the Topside Inn). Very good food, but slow service.
West River Market , 1000 Main Street, Galesville. Not on the water, but a short walk from Hartge's or the other marina's in town. Best bakery around.
West River Sailing Club a diverse sailing club. Not just great racers, but great cruisers also (that's why we're there).
